The battle has started! America is now making a move to execute plan B. 1st the implementation of SOPA, and now the they are planning the transfer of BPOs’ back to their state.

If one agent earns around 10 dollars an hour + other benefits and incentives in the US. Here in the Philippines, they only have to pay $400/month + other benefits and incentives. Wow! Cheap labor isn’t it? What a good way to sell labor without them noticing that they are exploited.
BPO corporations get to earn more and spend less on the tax and other spending. It doesn’t hurt that much since its based here in the Philippines.

Required skill? English.
Here, in the Philippines, its a second language. A learned language. There, its their “major” language. No need for training bla bla bla.

I just hope Philippines wont be too confident about these BPOs not transfering. US is desperate to earn no matter what. There’s no such thing as allies when money talks. They need to keep the money rolling.

I just hope I wont see a headline soon that goes like:
“Man got sued for singging Happy Birthday”
because of IPR.

they should have realized it sooner that they are spending more than what they earn and its killing them. Are they really losing their hegemonic power?

The long wait is over! What a way to start the year! Zarah and Joseph’s wedding. 1-03-2012.

Good thing Mike brought his d-SLR, now we have extra photos!! I forgot mine in the hotel.

Plus I’d really like to apologize to Marco cause he had to wait for me before going to Shangrila. Thanks to Mike for driving me home.

I know most of us had headache because of the weird weather, but who cares??? LoL

Oleh! I don’t usually buy high healed shoes because of my metal plate. But there’s always a first time! lol
I bought this one earlier for my friends’ wedding on the 3rd of January.
Unfortunately, I’m one of the bridesmaid. xD
I was suppose to buy a silver stilettos, but it kinda felt common. I decided to chose a lighter shade of the motif for my shoes and shawl. I ended up buying this. It feels comfeee though its high. And who would have thought that I’ll have the courage to wear something this high. 5″ heals. Pray that I wont trip and die.

Anyway, I had lunch with my mom and brother in a Chinese restaurant today. Their four season’s shake really looked cool. I took the umbrella off and played with it while eating. lol

After almost a year of stay, i’m leaving this room. I started packing this morning and im almost done. Its not that big, but the place is good for two, quiet and comfy. I rented it alone because I value my privacy very much. The rent is cheap and so are the monthly bills, like water and electricity (or maybe because I only stay here for 4 days a week).
I only have to cross the street whenever I go to class. Its near starbucks and other fast food chains. Its nice place! Too bad I have to let go of it.

Damn finals! I shouldnt be so stressed. But i feel like shit right now. I even got stucked on writing my letters for diplomatic correspondece course.

I feel so disappointed this term. I think i’ll receive my first ever failing mark.

Anyway, im eating dinner now. My compulsive eating habit is coming back. So much for the holiday. Crash diet on my friends wedding on the 3rd of January. Whatever! I guess im just tirreeeddddd.

Stuck at a 3 hour traffic

I didnt know that there was a huge accident that caused great traffic on my way to school. Everyone was pissed! But It was a plane crash! Errr! We had to take skyway route to aviod it. I ignored the huge dark smoke on the left side -bound to taft ave.
As much as I want to get mad too, we just made use of our time in taking photos!! LoL
