“Memories are the treasures that we keep locked deep within the storehouse of our souls, to keep our hearts warm when we are lonely.”– Becky Aligada

Mirror, Mirror on the wall…

“…who’s the fairest of them all?”

would you still be able to say these lines to yourself after realizing that not all people are as fortunate as you are? People are blinded thinking that its all about money, power and being on the top. But look at this man? He has no feet and arms, yet he is grateful of what he has?

“No one has the right to think that we are not worth it”

He is happy because he is contented. But why would we have to see someone like him just to make us realize how lucky we were? I cried when I saw this video. Sometimes, we need to see more than our eyes can see to learn. We never ran out of chances, that’s the reason why we are alive until this very moment. Make use of time to raise yourself from the ground. If you fail, try again… take your time learning how to get up. He can swim, he can walk, play soccer, golf… he can do things like a normal man. Why? It’s not talent, its not unusual. He’s just grateful about life.

Why can’t we be? Because people are too busy being a fool, looking for the things we WANT and not with what we NEED. We are blessed that God has given us all of those we need, yet our greediness pulls us down and  grieve at those things what we can’t have.

Why does a man like him, with no feet and arms live life with a smile?

…while you can’t?
